Virtual Berlin club timeline in Minecraft with revolutionary audio and commerce tech

The Problem We Saw

COVID killed live music. Artists who made their living from gigs were suddenly broke. Meanwhile, Twitch DJ bedroom streams felt boring and low-production. Fans weren't tipping because the experience didn't feel worth it. We needed to create something that felt like a real event, not just someone playing music in their bedroom.

Our Solution: Virtual Berlin

We built an explorable timeline of iconic Berlin clubs in Minecraft—from Berghain to Planet. But this wasn't just a virtual space; it was a complete production platform:

  • Immersive 3D club environments that players could explore
  • 360-degree spatial audio so you could "walk around" the dancefloor
  • TouchDesigner post-processing for professional visual effects
  • Integrated Bandcamp store—step on album art to buy music
  • 100% revenue pass-through to performing artists
  • Real-time audience interaction and community building

The Artist Lineup

We attracted world-class electronic artists who were hungry for new ways to connect with fans:

360° Spatial Audio Plugin

Players could walk around the virtual club and experience realistic audio positioning— closer to the DJ booth meant louder, clearer sound. Move to the back and hear the muffled bass through virtual walls.
